Segas Sailing Club is based on the lower end and South Bank of the River Medway opposite Hoo Island.  Here you will find some of the best sailing in the area in all but the most challenging conditions, as well as providing easy access to the Thames Estuary and beyond. Shops and a chandlery are a short walk away from the club site.  There is ample space for boat storage on a spacious paved area.

 

Segas Sailing Club is an RYA-affiliated club with a friendly, mutually supporting approach to sailing. Membership applications are open to all – you do not need to be associated with the gas industry – and we welcome sailors from all disciplines:- dinghy, sail cruiser, racing, and motor cruiser.

 

Primarily our members cruise, often in company though we have an active core of racers. While the sailing season is over we still have a limited amount of winter mud berthing. Members have access to free electricity and water as well as warm showers and toilets located in the clubhouse.
