The club has a 17 foot day boat with a cabin for use by members without a boat. Primarily this boat is maintained for use by new members to the club who have yet to purchase a boat, new members who wish to try sailing before committing themselves to purchasing and to provide access to boating to those on low incomes.

Suitable for day sailing and over night stop overs within the River Medway, by members for £10 a day. The only stipulation is that the member using is first approved by a committee member. This is to ensure that the member seeking approval has the skill and experience to do so safely. Where the sailing experience of a member is unknown to the club, the member will be required to take the boat out with a committee member for assessment.
