Established
in 1965, the club was originally founded as part of the Social and Sports
activities of the South Eastern Gas Board.
The club is now a totally independent organisation and operates as
a friendly, self-help operation for the benefit of the membership.
Craft are moored either in our private sheltered creek (dries) or on our own
deep water swinging moorings in the river Medway. Dinghies are stored within
the secure club confines with launching facilitated via our private ramp.
The clubhouse and hard standing are second to none and are probably the best
available of any club on the Medway. The hard standing provides a secure compound
for dinghies and for the winter storage of cruisers and motor craft.
Lift-in and Lift-out for moored craft are arranged at the start and end of
each season.
